Is Daly City DMV actually less crowded then SF DMV

Is Daly City DMV actually less crowded than SF DMV? If heard this, but I feel like it might be an urban myth. Also, how early do people start lining up before they open?
Top Comment: Nothing is worst than SF DMV. Right now, with the rush for Real ID, maybe everywhere is bad? Are they ever going to fix the DMV kiosk in the Safeway Potrero?
Potentially Moving to Daly City

I’m gonna keep it simple. I’m in college, I still have some time left, but me and my partner and have been looking for somewhere in between the two of us to move, and Daly City seems like the best bet.
Any tips of looking for apartments? Cheaper neighborhoods or what not? We’re not rich in the slightest but a variety of answers is better than none at all.
I hope I was clear, any help would be nice
Top Comment: We’re on the west side, closest to the ocean. It’s mostly single family homes there. The further you get from the ocean, the less fog you’ll have.
Is Daly City a pretty good neighbor?

NYC has Yonkers, a blue-collar-ish Italian-American and Black suburb, LA has Glendale and Burbank, a mix of movie stars and Armenian/Russians, and SF has Daly City: family-friendly, Filipino and Latino in culture mostly, slightly hipster-ish. For a big city, our suburb is cute.
Top Comment: Daly City is hipster?? That's the first I've heard that. The 99 Ranch, Seafood City, Sprouts Farmer's Market, Trader Joe's, and Latino mom-n-pop grocery stores along with a Target within one mile of Colma's feels middle class and utilitarian. I like Daly City. It's food options are a bit limited. Original Joe's, Taqueria Los Cuernos, and Spicy House are my favorite restaurants. The BART station is one of the ugliest.

Anywhere that is quote unquote called a ghetto? All I know is the area by Viz Valley and Cow Palace a la Schwerin St.
I like Daly but just interested in knowing what you think is bad. I am from Santa Rosa originally and Rosa is still more dangerous than Daly City and SF (at least northeast of Crocker Amazon) is more dangerous than both Santa Rosa and Daly City
